Apple {Chocolate} Crumble

Nicolette van Niekerk
This Fathers day, I had to choose a dessert that is┬ánot only delicious and new for my husband (as he literally tasted everything already on this planet), but also warm and inviting. The cold weather inspired me to go for a winter dessert, but something I can add Ice Cream to as this is ultimately what my husband wants. čÖé The Apple crumble┬árecipe is very basic and easy to make but is made with a chocolate twist. Add cocoa to the crumble before putting it in the oven. I’ve added evaporated milk, raisins and honey as extras to my basic recipe.
